00.08 Engaging the Shadow in Pisces

In this episode, Michelle and Matt discuss the need to get the mind connected to the body and the unconscious. Mercury entered Pisces on March 15, which is it's sign of fall and detriment, leaving us without much resonant recourse to logic and analysis. Michelle and Matt delve into why this is then a good time to tap into Piscean ways of knowing through divination and mantra, and they pull some tarot cards in order to illustrate the point and the process.

00.03 Saturn/Jupiter conjunct in Aquarius

Michelle and Matt discuss the Great Jupiter and Saturn Conjunction in Aquarius on December 21. While people have been linking the upcoming transit to the Star of Bethlehem or the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, it’s one of the foundational cycles of ancient astrology. The two planets align about every 20 years, and tend to form these conjunctions in signs of the same element (earth, air, fire, water) for 200 years at a time. This conjunction marks a shift from earth (since 1802) to air, so Matt and Michelle break down the element of air (mental faculties) and the archetype of Aquarius. In the second half of the show, they pull cards from the Archetypes oracle deck by Kim Krans, to see what messages might be coming through from the collective unconscious.
